Christina Bruns + Sheila Ilz van Hofen
Reserve your place →Abundance is not measured by how much we own, but by how deeply we experience life as it unfolds. It is the recognition that we already have everything we need — awareness, connection, and the ability to cultivate love and compassion.
The fall season reminds us of this truth. It’s the season of harvest - gathering what has grown through summer, celebrating the fruits of our labor throughout the year and preparing to carry the nourishment into the darker months ahead.
To harvest means not only to collect but also to honor the cycles of giving and receiving, of effort and rest, of expansion and release.
Through a disciplined, daily sadhana (spiritual practice), we learn that true wealth lies in awareness: experiencing a steady breath, the discipline of showing up day by day, the joy of chanting together, the spaciousness that opens up after movement.
Our founder Sheila teams up with Christina from TRBY Yoga Vienna for a week of rituals, reflection and togetherness.
We begin our mornings in mauna (noble silence), enjoying tea, a morning stroll or journaling. Sheila or Christina will be guiding an extended Jivamukti Yoga class with meditation, pranayama, chanting, study of scriptures and asana. Expect intelligent and creative sequencing, in-depth explanations for intermediate/advanced asanas and lots of playtime on the mat.
The afternoons are dedicated to either slower-paced practices like Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra or to workshops using props and including partner work- think inversions like handstands or backbends like Drop Backs. Some evenings, we gather for rituals of togetherness, connecting to the abundance of sound through kirtan (mantra chanting) and rituals.
Our vegan chef will be offering nourishing, homemade meals with mostly regional and seasonal products suited for the demands of the practice.
When you’re not practicing, enjoy the late summer sun on the lavish terrace of the villa, take walks around the countryside, explore nearby villages, read in one of the living rooms or take a massage with our experienced bodywork therapists.
Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Piemonte, Villa Pravernara provides the perfect setting to bask in the late-spring Italian sun. Surrounded by nature and the beauty of the Italian countryside, you’ll have the space to unwind, reflect, and connect deeply with yourself and your practice.
The villa is a blend of history and modern simplicity. The room’s walls are adorned with beautiful old paintings while the minimal, contemporary interior creates a calm and spacious vibe. You can choose between single, double or triple rooms with shared or ensuite bathrooms.
Our large communal spaces are designed for connection, making it easy to gather with fellow retreat participants as well as finding moments of solitude. The indoor and outdoor yoga shalas provide the perfect settings for practice.
Harvesting the insights of your practice, establishing rituals that support your path and rooting yourself in community. Together, we step into the fields of abundance - within and around us - and carry their nourishment into our lives.
