Sandra Gerhard + Alex Perez
Reserve your place →…when summer is coming to an end, the sun is still gently shining, the light is becoming more and more magical, and you feel invited to turn your senses inward again.
During this week with Sandra Gerhard, founder of the Practice Yoga Berlin yoga school, and Alex Perez, you start the morning with a 2-3h holistic yoga practice with asana, pranayama and meditation.
On two afternoons, Alex will teach workshops in which he will playfully teach inversion postures such as handstand and forearm stand, as well as balancing postures such as various birds and crows.
When we are not on the mat or doing walking meditation, you can relax, go for a walk and enjoy the sweet life. We end the day with meditation and chanting together. Villa Pravernara’s head chef Yona Whale will treat you to culinary delights - those in the know, know…

Sandra is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher (800+hs). She graduated in Rhinebeck, NY, in 2010, and has been teaching Jivamukti Yoga in Berlin and worldwide since then. She started her regular Ashtanga/Mysore practice in 2016.
In 2019, she decided to found her own Yoga Shala – Practice – to pass on her experiences from her own Jivamutki and Ashtanga practice. She is grateful to her teachers who guided her on this path so far.
She teaches demanding, but simple classes, without any hectic, but with a lot of fire.
Her development to become a teacher of Yoga has also been shaped by various work experiences – being an actress, a photographer as well as running an acting agency. Sandra is the mother of three children.
Alex was born in Paris and grew up in Geneva. He discovered yoga in a park in Barcelona, since then, Alex embarked on a journey seeking the best teachings, so he could transmit yoga to his students in the most comprehensive and modern way possible. His quest led him to Bali, London, Paris, New York and San Francisco where he was able to practice and learn with teachers such as Patrick Beach, David Kyle, Jared McCann, Mathieu Boldron, Dylan Werner and many others.
Over the course of his apprenticeship, Alex developed his own way of teaching yoga, a non-rigid and modern form based on a scientific understanding of movement and of the body.
Having received his medical license, Alex uses his profound anatomical and physiological knowledge to adapt his guidance to the unique physiognomy of each of his students, herewith creating a safe environment for the practice.
